Using Ordeo

Sell ORDEO from your notes for ETH

A private sale turns shielded ORDEO into ETH sent to any address you choose. The payout terms are bound into your proof, so nobody can change them.

What you need

  • Shielded ORDEO in your notes.
  • An address to receive the ETH. A fresh address you have not used before keeps the sale harder to link.

Steps

  1. 01

    Open sell

    In /app, choose sell.

  2. 02

Enter the amount and payout address

The app quotes the ETH out and sets a minimum and a deadline.

  3. 03

    Prove and submit

Your proof unshields to OrdeoTradeDesk and carries the sale terms: payout address, minimum ETH, deadline and who may submit. The bundler submits it and takes its flat ORDEO fee.

  4. 04

    Receive ETH

On the live Pons venue the router makes the sale, checks the minimum and pays the ETH out to your payout address.

What the chain shows

Visible: the ETH recipient and the amount, and the bundler’s flat ORDEO fee. Not visible: which notes were sold or who owned them. When the bundler submits, your wallet address does not appear on the sale.

What can go wrong

  • Price fell below your minimum. The whole transaction reverts and your notes stay unspent. Try again with a new quote.
  • Deadline too close. Bundlers refuse sales that expire within a minute.
  • Launch graduating. Sales revert while the curve is full and the pool is not open yet.
  • No bundler. You can submit the sale from your own wallet; it then appears as the sender and pays gas in ETH.
Until the contracts are deployed, the app runs in practice mode: each action is a signed message, no transaction is sent and balances are practice balances. The same screens go live once the contracts are deployed.
